First
Church in Hillcrest will be the site of an all day symposium
on April 2 called Awakening
the Dreamer, Changing the Dream.
Palomar
Concert. The Musicians and Singers Concert is an annual
event you won't want to miss this Sunday (March 27) beginning
at 1 p.m. at Palomar UU Fellowship (PUUF) in Vista. Proceeds
will go to support the music program at PUUF.
With
Fantasy to Nonsense songs, this year's program should please
young
and old alike. The Fellowship Ensemble will perform sweeping
fantasies of sound. Singers—soloists, duos and groups—plus
dazzling dancers are bound to entertain everyone. The concert
is choreographed and directed by Kimberly Lilley and accompanied
by pianists/keyboardists Caroline Celia and Deanna Pierson.
Advance adult tickets are $9.00, with $10.00 charged at the
door. Tickets for non-performing children 6-16 are $5.00 with
no charge for younger children.

Auction. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
of San Dieguito is holding its
annual Auction, “Dare to Dream”, on Saturday (May 7)
from 5-8:30 p.m. Admission is free. Call (858) 755-9225 or
check out the Fellowship's
website at www.uufsd.org for directions and more information.
Bid for items such as vacation getaways, art work, jewelry,
antiques, event tickets, and much more while you enjoy live
music, and a wine tasting event at $3.00 a glass. Bring the
kids. Monitored child care will be available with pizza. UUFSD
Concert. Emma's Revolution (Pat Humphries and Sandy
O) perform at UUFSD in Solana Beach on Friday, March 25,
beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18.00 in advance and $20.00
at the door.
