Chalice UU Congregation is the result of a merger between two former UU churches – the Inland North County UU Fellowship, and Chalice UU Church – and serves the communities of Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and Escondido. With strong lay leadership and the dynamic ministry of Rev. Margo McKenna, Chalice continues to set records as one of the fastest-growing UU congregations in the U.S. It has won special recognition for growth from our regional governing body, the Pacific Southwest District. In 2004, Chalice moved its worship services and office spaces to a beautiful new facility in Escondido.

Red-tailed hawks often soar overhead during Sunday morning worship services. The architecturally distinctive campus includes a meeting hall, library, classrooms and offices, and is completely accessible to physically handicapped visitors. Rev. Frank Placone-Willey will serve our Fellowship as a Consulting Minister from September through December 2006.
