SUUN and UUFSD are incredibly excited to announce that we are bringing back- by popular demand - renowned Minnesota singer-songwriter Peter Mayer! He will be performing a live concert at UUFSD - Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Dieguito - on the evening of October 18th, 2014 from 7:30p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  

Peter Mayer is well known for his moving song "Blue Boat Home" but has many new songs and will, of course, be featuring other old favorites as well. Don't miss this chance to see one of America's most beloved singer song writers live in person. Tickets are very reasonably priced and this evening to remember would make a memorable gift to any music lover. 

This past weekend, September 20th, 2014, your boards met at Summit Fellowship in Santee to discuss governance and operations so that we can be more effective in meeting your goals for our congregations. This engaging dialog was facilitated by the Reverend David Miller of UUFSD and Jan Gallo of First Church. Some of the topics that we discussed were governance and how each congregation operates, leadership, and conflict resolution.  It was great to sit down at the start of the church year with people who had a wide variety of skills and gain new perspectives on boards and congregations.
